Prof. Dr. Željko Penava

Summary

Dr. Željko Penava was born in 1964 in Imotski, Croatia. He studied and graduated from the Faculty of Technology in Zagreb. Immediately after graduation he enrolled in postgraduate studies at the same faculty, specializing in textile engineering. On 23 June 1993 he defended his master's thesis entitled “Design of a Computer Program for Continuous Analysis of Thin Places in Yarn”. His scientific career continued with the successful defence of his doctoral dissertation on 19 March 2004 titled “Investigation of the Physical Characteristics of Yarn for the Detection of the Weakest Points”, in the field of technical sciences, textile technology.
